  • 1 tablespoon sugar for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder because garlic makes everything better
  • 1 pinch paprika for a hint of warmth

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, ketchup, rice vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, and paprika. Use a whisk or a fork to mix everything together until smooth and creamy.
  • Take a small taste of your Yum Yum Sauce. Adjust sweetness or tanginess to your preference by adding more sugar or vinegar.
  • Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and let it chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Once chilled, serve your Yum Yum Sauce alongside grilled meats, fresh veggies, or use it as a dip.

Notes

Don’t skimp on the chill time – it's key for the flavors to come together. Store any leftover sauce in the fridge for up to a week. You can also add sriracha for heat or soy sauce for an umami twist.
