Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich

  • 4 slices slices of bacon Cook until crispy.
  • 2 slices your favorite bread Options include sourdough, whole wheat, or classic white.
  • 1 large tomato, sliced Fresh slices enhance flavor.
  • 2-3 leaves fresh lettuce Romaine or iceberg work well.
  • to taste Mayonnaise The more, the merrier!
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until it’s crispy. Keep an eye on it!
  • Toast the bread slices until golden. You can use a toaster or a skillet with a bit of butter for extra flavor.

Assembly

  • Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise on each slice of toasted bread.
  • On one slice, layer the bacon, tomato slices, and lettuce. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the tomatoes.
  • Top it with the second slice of bread, mayo side down.

Serving

  • Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and serve with your favorite side, like potato chips or a salad.

Notes

Feel free to add avocado or cheese for customization. For leftovers, keep components separate to avoid sogginess.
