Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey Use ground turkey for a healthier option.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Standard packet.
  • 1 cup ranch dressing Can substitute with sour cream or yogurt.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or a cheese blend.
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers Mix different colors for a vibrant dish.
  • 1 package mini phyllo pastry cups Edible cups for holding the filling.
  • to taste fresh cilantro For garnish, optional.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook your ground beef until it’s browned.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water, letting it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the seasoned beef, ranch dressing, shredded cheese, and diced bell peppers.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place your mini phyllo cups on a baking sheet and generously fill each cup with the beef mixture.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until they’re golden and bubbly.

Serving

  • Once baked, let them cool for a minute and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
  • Enjoy immediately!

Notes

These bites can be made in advance and reheated. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Great with fresh salsa or guacamole.
