  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix well until smooth.
  • Spread half of the cake batter in the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips evenly over the batter.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Drop dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
  • Pour the remaining cake batter over the cream cheese layers and spread gently.

Baking

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool before slicing. Enjoy it warm or at room temperature.
