Ingredients

For the Steak

  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Creamy Sauce

  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped Can use canned or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season both sides of your ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust the time based on your preferred level of doneness.
  • Once done, transfer the steaks to a plate to rest.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp and lobster meat, stirring for another 2-3 minutes until they’re heated through.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Return the steaks to the skillet, letting them bask in the sauce for an extra minute.

Serving

  • Plate your steak, generously spoon the creamy shrimp and lobster sauce over the top, and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a shortcut, use pre-cooked shrimp. Marinate steaks in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for added flavor. Pair with garlic mashed potatoes or arugula salad for a complete meal.
