Ingredients

Noodles

  • 8 ounces your favorite noodles (spaghetti, fettuccine, or rice noodles)

Proteins

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or flank steak)

Vegetables

  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, snap peas, and carrots)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Sauces and Oils

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil To prevent noodles from sticking

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish (Optional)

  • Green onions and sesame seeds For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by boiling the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, drizzling with sesame oil to prevent sticking.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat a splash of oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the steak from the pan, let it rest for a minute, then slice into thin strips.
  • In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Add mixed vegetables and garlic, stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp.
  • Return steak to the skillet, add cooked noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Toss until well-coated.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For more sauce, adjust soy and oyster sauce to taste. You can swap veggies for ones your family likes, and consider adding chili flakes for heat!
