For the cookies

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Can substitute with crunchy peanut butter for texture.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For decorations

  • enough black licorice To create spider legs.
  • enough candy eyes For finishing decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Scoop a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Flatten the dough balls with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

Decoration

  • Once cooled, stick four pieces of black licorice for spider legs and two candy eyes on each cookie.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Can freeze unbaked dough for later use. Get creative with decorations!
