  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced Use any color you love
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Flour or corn tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish If you’re feeling fancy
  • Lime wedges, for that zesty final touch

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
  • Toss in the shrimp, crab meat, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
  • Warm the tortillas over an open flame or in a dry skillet.
  • Fill the warmed tortillas with the shrimp and crab medley. Top with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime.

Notes

Variations Welcome: Substitute crab with more shrimp or your favorite fish. Level of Spiciness: Add cayenne or jalapeños for heat. Let the veggies caramelize for extra sweetness.
