Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken sausage (sliced into rounds)
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts (trimmed and halved)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup mustard (Dijon works beautifully)
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced chicken sausage and halved Brussels sprouts. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle on garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until well coated.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the honey and mustard until blended perfectly.
  • Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken sausage and Brussels sprouts, then toss again to coat. Spread the mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and the chicken sausage is golden and sizzling.

Serving

  • Once done, take out your sheet pan and let the dish cool for a few moments. Serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to switch up the sausages with your favorite kind—chicken, turkey, or a spicy variety. If the honey mustard glaze ends up a little too thick, add a splash of water to loosen it up. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove.
