Ingredients
  

Basic Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices Feel free to substitute with turkey pepperoni or veggies.
  • 1 jar pizza sauce For dipping.
  • 1 small green pepper Chopped into small pieces for eyes.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg egg (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and cut it into squares.
  • Place a slice of pepperoni and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese in each square.
  • Fold up the corners of the dough over the filling and pinch them together.
  • Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over your monster appetizers.
  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Chop up the green pepper into small pieces to resemble eyes and add them to the appetizers once baked.
  • Serve on a plate with pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

If the monster shapes aren't perfect, remember they're 'frighteningly fun'! Serve on a spooky platter or with fake spider webs for Halloween flair.
