  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces For best flavor, use marbled cuts like sirloin or ribeye.
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered Boiling helps achieve a crispy exterior when seared.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided into portions for cooking.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Add towards the end to avoid burning.

  • 1 teaspoon paprika Optional, for added warmth.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Boil the baby potatoes in a pot of salted water for about 10-15 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add steak pieces, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and tender. Remove steak and set aside.

Cooking

  • Add remaining butter to the skillet and toss in boiled potatoes. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden-crusted.
  • Lower heat to medium and add minced garlic. Stir for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Return steak to the skillet and mix everything. Cook together for another 2-3 minutes to blend flavors.

Serving

  • Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For quicker prep, use pre-cooked baby potatoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
