Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can 15 oz salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (Panko for extra crunch!)
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 pcs eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp oil (for frying)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the drained salmon, bread crumbs, onion, beaten eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and spices.
  • Shape the mixture into patties, aiming for about 1 inch thick.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Carefully place the patties in the skillet.
  • Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve the salmon patties on their own or with a dipping sauce like tzatziki or lemon juice. Pair with a side salad or veggies.

Notes

Feel free to add herbs like dill or parsley for extra flavor. If using canned tuna instead, it works just as well! For extra crispiness, dip in flour before frying.
