Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Roll the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake the meatballs in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat a large skillet over medium heat and sauté sliced mushrooms and diced onion until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mixture, stirring constantly for a minute. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until gravy thickens.
- Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the skillet with the gravy and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Serving
- Serve the Salisbury Steak Meatballs over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta, topped with mushroom gravy.
Notes
