  • 1 pound bratwurst (fresh or fully cooked) Use fresh or pre-cooked bratwurst.
  • 1 package refrigerated soft pretzel dough Store-bought dough for convenience.
  • to taste coarse sea salt For sprinkling on top before baking.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • If using fresh bratwurst, cook them according to package instructions until fully cooked and browned. If using fully cooked bratwurst, warm them up.
  • Roll out the pretzel dough and cut into strips about 1-inch wide and 3-4 inches long.
  • Wrap each bratwurst securely with a strip of pretzel dough.
  • Arrange wrapped bratwurst bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle with coarse sea salt before baking.

Baking

  • Bake in preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serving

  • Let bites cool slightly, then serve with mustard for dipping.

Notes
