Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (homemade or jarred)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or your favorite toppings
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten for egg wash
  • Optional: Italian herbs or garlic powder for added flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Use a skull-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes from your dough.

Assembly

  • Place half of your skull shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spoon a little pizza sauce onto the center of each shape, then top with shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan.
  • Cover with the remaining dough shapes and press the edges down to seal them.
  • Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden sheen.

Baking

  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Enjoy the aroma!

Notes

Don't overfill to avoid mess, and feel free to customize the toppings based on your family's preferences. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
