Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 piece Boneless Ham, about 5-7 pounds
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard or any mustard of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • Pineapple slices, optional, for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, pineapple juice, Dijon mustard, and ground cinnamon. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Place the boneless ham on a baking pan and make shallow cuts in a crisscross pattern on the surface.
  • Brush half of the prepared glaze over the ham and reserve the other half for later.
  • Optional: Lay pineapple slices over the ham.

Cooking

  • Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
  • Bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil in the last 30-45 minutes of baking to let the glaze caramelize.

Serving

  • Once the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C), remove it from the oven.
  • Let it rest for about 15-20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for sandwiches or salads. Spice it up with cloves or allspice in the glaze for a different flavor profile.
