  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Use large shrimp for juiciness.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended) Panko gives extra crunch.
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter, olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  • Place the shrimp on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they’re spread out and not overlapping.
  • Generously sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over the shrimp, ensuring each shrimp is coated.

Cooking

  • Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the topping is golden and crispy.
  • Once done, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Shrimp size matters; use large shrimp for best results. For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of lemon juice or zest.
