Ham

  • 1 piece fully cooked bone-in ham (5-7 lbs)

Glaze Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices (with juice)
  • 1 tsp ground cloves (optional) Can be added for extra flavor.

Preparation

  • Remove the ham from its packaging and place it in the crock pot. Score the surface in a criss-cross pattern.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, pineapple juice, and ground cloves if using.

Cooking

  • Generously coat the ham with the glaze mixture, ensuring even coverage. Add the pineapple slices on top and pour the juice over everything.
  • Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once the ham is ready, slice it and drizzle some of the glaze from the crock pot over each serving.

Notes

Leftovers make fantastic sandwiches. For variation, add whiskey to the glaze for a unique flavor. Adjust the thickness of pineapple slices to control sweetness.
