Ingredients

Lobster Tails

  • 4 pieces lobster tails

Garlic Butter Cream Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter divided for sauce and brushing
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika for flavor
  • Salt and pepper, to taste for seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish use as needed

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Carefully cut the top of each lobster tail in half down to the tail, being careful not to cut all the way through.

Making the Sauce

  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt 1/4 cup of unsalted butter.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, lemon juice, paprika, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer for another 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Cooking the Lobster

  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush them generously with the garlic butter cream sauce.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and reaches 140°F (62°C) on an instant-read thermometer.

Serving

  • Once cooked, drizzle the remaining sauce over the lobster tails and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Don't skimp on the butter for the sauce, monitor cooking time carefully, and use leftover sauce on veggies or grilled chicken.
