For the Lobster Garlic Spread

  • 1 large baguette or Italian bread Choose your preferred type of bread.
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter Softened for easy mixing.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds the best flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Optional for a spicy kick.
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped Feel free to be generous.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving Adds a bright citrus flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
  • In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Fold in the cooked lobster meat into your garlic butter mixture.
  • Generously spread the lobster garlic butter onto both halves of the bread.

Baking

  • Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden.

Serving

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

If lobster isn’t available, substitute it with shrimp or crab meat. Adjust cooking time as necessary. For a lighter version, consider using less butter or a butter substitute.
