Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large lemon, juiced for a citrus flavor
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

For the Veggies

  • 2 large bell peppers, sliced any color
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Feta Tzatziki

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 large cucumber, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembling

  • Pita bread
  • Fresh herbs (like dill or parsley), for garnish optional

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced chicken, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it soak for at least 15 minutes.

Roast the Peppers

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the sliced bell peppers in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet and roast for about 20-25 minutes, until tender.

Cook the Chicken

  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Make the Feta Tzatziki

  • In a bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, crumbled feta, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning as desired.

Assemble Your Pitas

  • Grab your warm pita bread and fill them with the cooked chicken, roasted bell peppers, and feta tzatziki.
