Cooking the Eggs

  • Whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Marinating the Eggs

  • Once the eggs are cool enough to handle, peel them gently.
  • Place the eggs in a jar or bowl and pour the soy sauce mixture over them.
  • Ensure the eggs are fully submerged and cover, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight.

Serving

  • Remove the eggs from the marinade and slice them in half.
