  • 2 patties beef patties (1/4 pound each) Shaped into two patties.
  • 2 slices American cheese For topping the patties.
  • 1 bun hamburger bun To assemble the burger.
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise For spreading on the bun.
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup For drizzling on the assembled burger.
  • 1 tablespoon mustard For drizzling on the assembled burger.
  • 1 slice tomato For adding freshness to the burger.
  • 2-3 pickles For adding crunch and flavor.
  • 1 leaf fresh lettuce For adding crispness to the burger.
  • to taste spices Salt and pepper For seasoning the patties.

Preparation

  • Slice your tomato, wash your lettuce, and have your condiments ready.

Shaping Patties

  • Take your beef and shape it into two patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Cooking Patties

  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and drizzle with a little oil.
  • Place your patties on the hot skillet. Cook for about 4 minutes before flipping.
  • After flipping, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover the skillet for a minute to melt.

Toasting the Bun

  • Toast your hamburger bun in the same skillet until golden brown.

Assembling the Burger

  • Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, then stack the first patty with cheese, followed by the second patty.
  • Add tomato, pickles, and lettuce, then drizzle ketchup and mustard on top.
  • Top it off with the other half of the bun and enjoy!

Notes

Don't overwork the meat when shaping patties. Experiment with seasonings and customize your toppings according to preference.
