  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  • Spread the sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, making sure not to overcrowd them.

Roasting

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Making the Glaze

  • While the sprouts are roasting, whisk together the honey and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl.

Serving

  • Once the Brussels sprouts are done, drizzle the honey-balsamic mixture over them and toss well to coat.
  • Serve hot as a delicious side dish.

Notes

For quicker prep, trim Brussels sprouts a day in advance. If you prefer crunchier texture, reduce roasting time slightly.
