Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, protein powder, and chia seeds. If you're sweetening your oats, add the honey or maple syrup at this stage. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Divide the mixture into jars or containers with tight-fitting lids.
  • Place the jars in the refrigerator overnight to allow the oats to absorb the liquid.
  • In the morning, give your oats a good stir and top them with your favorite fruits, nuts, or seeds. Enjoy right from the jar or transfer them to a bowl!

Notes

These oats stay fresh for up to five days in the fridge. You can switch up flavors by using different protein powders, adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg, or mixing in Greek yogurt or nut butter for extra protein.
