  • 30 oz 1 bag of frozen hash browns
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk

Add-Ins

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite type)
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked sausage, bacon, or ham for extra protein

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) so it’s hot and ready for action.
  • In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the frozen hash browns evenly across the bottom. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper for extra flavor.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and seasoning.
  • Stir in the cheese, onions, bell peppers, and any additional meats.

Baking

  • Pour the egg mixture over the hash browns and gently shake to evenly distribute.
  • Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Serving

  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize by adding leftover veggies or meats. For a crispy top, broil for the last 5 minutes, monitoring closely.
