Preparation

  • Start by gathering all your veggies and chopping them to your preferred size.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and no longer pink, around 5-7 minutes.
  • Toss in the sliced onion and garlic, cooking for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry everything together until the veggies are tender yet crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in the teriyaki and soy sauces, stirring well to combine everything.
  • Let it simmer for another minute for the flavors to meld.
  • Taste your stir fry and add salt and pepper as needed.
  • Serve it hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Don’t stress if your sauce looks a bit lumpy; that’s all part of the magic! To add some heat, include a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce when adding the teriyaki sauce.
