  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red chili pepper finely chopped Adjust for heat.

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the Grill: For a charcoal grill, heat the coals until they're ready. For a gas grill, set it to medium-high heat.
  • Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped chili. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Marinate the Squid: Toss the squid rings in the marinade, ensuring they're well coated. Let marinate for 15-30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Grill the Squid: Place the marinated squid on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until opaque.
  • Finishing Touches: After grilling, sprinkle with chopped parsley and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top. Serve with additional lemon wedges.
