Ingredients
  

For the Steak & Shrimp

  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation

  • Start by seasoning your ribeye steaks with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes while you prepare your shrimp.

Cooking the Steak

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once it’s melted and bubbling, place the steaks in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness. Once done, remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.

Cooking the Shrimp

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, then toss in the shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Arrange your beautifully rested steaks on a platter and pile on that succulent shrimp. Drizzle any leftover garlic butter from the skillet over everything.
  • Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for that pop of color and flavor, serving it alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

Cooking Tips: Don’t rush the steak; let it cook without prodding for a delicious crust. Extra garlic butter can be used on bread or sautéing veggies. Feel free to swap shrimp with scallops or grilled veggies for variations.
