Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water Should be around 110°F (43°C)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

For Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • Additional melted butter For brushing

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  • Mix in the melted butter, flour, and salt until the dough starts to come together. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes on a floured surface or until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Let It Rise

  • Place your dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

Shape the Rolls

  • Once your dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles. Divide it into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
  • Place them on a greased baking tray, ensuring they are close but not touching.

Bake to Perfection

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While the oven is heating up, melt the remaining butter and mix in the minced garlic.
  • Brush this mixture over the rolls before placing them in the oven.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

Finish and Serve

  • Once out of the oven, brush the rolls again with some melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley for a pop of color.
  • Serve them warm and enjoy!
