  • 2 pieces lobster tails Fresh or frozen
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Add more if desired
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving Fresh lemon juice adds brightness

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven broiler to high.
  • Cut the lobster tails lengthwise down the middle with a sharp knife or kitchen shears.

Making the Sauce

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the parsley, salt, and pepper.

Cooking the Lobster

  • Place the lobster tails on a baking tray, flesh side up.
  • Drizzle them generously with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Broil for about 6-10 minutes until the flesh is opaque and succulent.

Serving

  • Once out of the oven, squeeze fresh lemon over the top and serve.

Notes

Watch lobster closely while broiling to prevent burning. Leftovers (if any) can be stored in the fridge for up to two days, best enjoyed cold.
