Ingredients

Seafood Ingredients

  • 8 oz lobster tails, peeled and chopped
  • 8 oz scallops, fresh or thawed Pat dry for better searing

Cooking Essentials

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter Divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by peeling and chopping the lobster tails into bite-sized pieces.
  • Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add the scallops to the pan, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook the scallops for about 2-3 minutes, flipping only once until golden brown and just opaque. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Add minced garlic and sautĂ© until fragrant.
  • Add the lobster chunks along with the lemon juice. Cook until lobster is just cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Carefully add the scallops back to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh parsley.
  • Gently stir and let the flavors meld for another minute.
  • Serve immediately, optionally with crusty bread or over pasta or steamed rice.

Notes

For perfect searing, ensure the skillet is heated properly before adding scallops. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to two days—rehydrate carefully to avoid rubbery texture.
