  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth Can substitute with vegetable broth or white wine.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in your crockpot.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and set it on low for about 6 hours.
  • Once done, shred the chicken using two forks directly in the crockpot and stir it into the sauce.

Serving

  • Ladle the garlic butter chicken onto plates, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve.

Notes

For picky eaters, serve over rice or pasta to mask the garlic flavor. This dish can be frozen for meal prep.
