  • to taste Salt and pepper

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish before serving.

Instructions

Cooking Pasta

  • Begin by boiling a pot of salted water. Add your pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water before draining.

Cooking Beef

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the ground beef, seasoning it with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Adding Garlic

  • Once the beef is cooked, add the minced garlic and the red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Combining Ingredients

  • Reduce the heat and add the drained pasta to the skillet. Pour in the reserved pasta water and the remaining butter. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated and the sauce is creamy.

Garnishing and Serving

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top, serve hot, and prepare for the compliments to roll in!

Notes

Don’t hold back on the butter! It makes this dish rich and decadent. If the sauce looks a bit lumpy, it’s all part of the magic.
