  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
  • Pat the scallops dry and season them with salt and pepper.
  • In a medium bowl, drizzle half of the garlic butter over the scallops and toss gently until they are well coated.

Cooking

  • Place the scallops in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  • Air fry the scallops for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are beautifully browned and opaque.
  • Drizzle the remaining garlic butter over the cooked scallops and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcook! Scallops cook quickly, so pay attention to avoid rubbery texture. Let them rest for a minute after frying for juicier results. Great served over rice or alongside sautéed veggies.
