  • In a skillet, pour the olive oil and add your sliced garlic. Heat it over medium-low. Infuse the oil with garlic flavor, but do not fry.
  • Once the oil starts to warm, stir occasionally to prevent burning. Aim for golden garlic, not black.
  • After 2-3 minutes, sprinkle in the red pepper flakes and stir for another minute.
  • Season with salt and pepper to your taste, adjusting as needed.
  • Drizzle over pasta, bread, or veggies and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

This recipe is very versatile; feel free to add other ingredients like spinach, cherry tomatoes, or proteins for a more hearty meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for quick meals throughout the week. If needed, you can substitute olive oil with any neutral oil.
