  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.

Melting and Mixing

  • In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate chips together over low heat, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

Combining Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually add the cooled chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Fold in the flour and salt gently, ensuring not to overmix.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Cooling and Serving

  • Allow your brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, slice into squares and serve.

Notes

For an added touch, sprinkle some sea salt on top after baking. You can also add nuts or chocolate chunks to the batter for an extra twist.
