Instructions
Preparation
Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cream of mushroom soup, ranch dressing mix, and chicken broth until smooth.
Pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
Cooking
Cover the crockpot and set it on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
Serving
Once cooked, shred the chicken right in the crockpot and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Serve over rice, pasta, or a bed of vegetables.
Notes
For an extra creamy dish, add more chicken broth. If the sauce looks lumpy, it will smooth out while cooking.
