  • 1 pound Salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup Honey Adjust according to your sweetness preference
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for gluten-free
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For cooking
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped scallions, for garnish

Preparation

  • Start by cutting your salmon into bite-sized pieces and pat them dry with a paper towel.

Prepare the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.

Cook the Salmon

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil.
  • Once hot, add the salmon pieces without overcrowding the pan.
  • Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Add the Sauce

  • Once the salmon is cooked through, pour the sauce over the bites and toss gently.
  • Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Serve

  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped scallions.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the pan while cooking. Adjust the sweetness by reducing honey if needed. Other proteins like chicken or tofu can be used as alternatives.
