Ingredients
  

Seafood and Cream Sauce

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 lb scallops
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp and scallops. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they turn opaque and are cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and broth, stirring to combine. Allow to simmer for 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

If the sauce appears lumpy, it’s normal with garlic and cream. If too thick, add more broth. Consider pairing with crusty bread or pasta.
