  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound scallops (or your favorite seafood) Feel free to substitute with other seafood options like mussels or crab.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter option.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes For a kick of spice.

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the minced garlic to the butter, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Toss in the shrimp and scallops, cooking until the shrimp are pink and the scallops are opaque, about 4-5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese. Stir until combined.
  • Taste and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Plate the seafood and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Place leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat on low, adding a splash of milk or broth if the cream sauce thickens.
