Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional Garnish

  • fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Carefully butterfly the lobster tails by cutting down the center of the top shell, stopping just before the tail ends. This will allow the delicious sauce to seep in. Place them in a baking dish, meat-side up.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the cream and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking

  • Generously ladle the garlic butter sauce over the lobster tails, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly firm.
  • Once out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish and serve with crusty bread.

Notes

Don’t overcook the lobster! The key to tender meat is to cook just until it turns opaque. You can also add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before baking for richer flavor.
