Lobster Tails

  • 2 pieces lobster tails

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika for color
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • lemon wedges to serve

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top of each lobster tail to expose the meat and remove any shell pieces.

Cooking

  • Season the exposed lobster meat generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Watch it closely to avoid burning.
  • Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour half of the garlic butter over the lobster tails ensuring the meat is well covered.
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking dish and bake for about 12-15 minutes until opaque and slightly firm.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Consider adding a touch of white wine to the garlic butter for added flavor. Pair with a light salad or crusty bread to soak up the garlic butter.
