Ingredients
  

For the Bites

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed) Ensure it's cold for flakiness.
  • 1 wheel brie cheese Cut into pieces as needed.
  • 1/3 cup cranberry sauce Can be store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 large egg Beaten, for egg wash.
  • to taste fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick. Cut into squares, about 3 inches each.
  • Place a piece of brie in the center of each pastry square.
  • Top the brie with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  • Fold each pastry square in half diagonally to form a triangle and press the edges to seal.
  • Brush the tops with the beaten egg.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure your puff pastry is cold for the best texture. You can freeze unbaked bites for later use. Consider adding chopped nuts for extra flavor.
