  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and milk. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract.

Mixing

  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in your chopped apples until evenly distributed.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture into your prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm with butter or honey, or pair with vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers wrapped in plastic wrap at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze individual slices for later.
