Preparation
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and let it cool before crumbling it into tiny pieces.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped chicken, crumbled bacon, and ranch dressing. Mix together.
- Toast the sub rolls in the oven for a few minutes for added crunch.
Assembly
- Layer the bottom of each roll with shredded lettuce.
- Add a heaping spoonful of the chicken and bacon mixture on top of the lettuce.
- Place slices of cheese on top, and add optional toppings like tomatoes and avocado if desired.
- Finish with the top roll and press gently. Slice in half if preferred.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option. Don’t worry if the sandwich falls apart—it’s all part of the fun!
