  • 1 cup caramel sauce for drizzling additional for mixing optional

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and stir in the granulated sugar until well combined. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until everything is combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  • Using a cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each scoop.

Baking

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are set.
  • Once the cookies are cool, drizzle with caramel sauce.
  • Share immediately or let them cool completely for the best texture.
