Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

For the dough

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Make sure it's well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  • Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the tip. Place them seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
  • Brush the top of each roll with the beaten egg.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Notes

Feel free to add herbs like rosemary or thyme for more flavor. For cheesy lovers, consider adding mozzarella for a gooey texture. The filling can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
