Seafood

  • 2 pieces lobster tails Fresh is best!
  • 8 ounces scallops Make sure they are dry before cooking.

Cooking Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Divided for cooking lobster and scallops.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For added flavor.
  • 1 piece lemon, zest and juice Adds brightness to the dish.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnishing.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust to preference.

Preparation

  • Cut the lobster tails lengthwise carefully.
  • Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Place the lobster tails in the skillet, shell side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Flip the lobster tails and add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and lemon zest. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • In another pan or the same pan, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and heat it.
  • Add the scallops, ensuring they don’t overlap, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Plating

  • Arrange lobster and scallops on a plate.
  • Drizzle the remaining lemon juice, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and fresh parsley.

Notes

For the best results, use fresh seafood and don’t overcrowd the pan while cooking scallops. Adjust seasoning to your taste preference.
