Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tail lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Garnish and Serving

  • as needed Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • as needed Lemon wedges For serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Carefully thaw the lobster tails if frozen. Cut the top shell down the middle, stopping before the tail, and gently pull the meat up through the shell.

Cooking

  • Melt unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Use tongs to place the lobster tails in the pan, shell side down. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, basting the meat with melted butter.
  • Flip the lobster tails after 5-7 minutes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 5 minutes until they are opaque.
  • Remove the lobster tails from the pan, drizzle with more butter, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Lobster can turn rubbery if overcooked; cook until just opaque. Basting is key for flavor. Consider pairing with crisp white wine.
